Mrs. Emma Berry,aged 74 years,905 Schoonmaker avenue,died Monday,Aug. 31,1953,at 4:30 p.m. at her home. She is survived by a son,Edward Ward of Monessen;a daughter, Mrs. Mary Alfred,of Nyack,N.Y.;three sisters,Mrs. Cora Tomberlin,of Rankin,Mrs. Martha Chatman,of Chicago,and Mrs. Kate Davney,of McDowell,W.Va.;16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Draper Funeral Home,Sixth street,Monessen. Funeral services will be on Friday morning at 11 o'clock from the Draper chapel,with Rev. J.H. Spencer officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C. Draper,funeral director.
