Emma Salvino Zimmaro of 11 Monessen Blvd.,Monessen,died suddenly at 1 a.m. Sunday,Jan. 9,1983 in Mon Valley Hosptial, Carroll Twp. She was 76. Mrs. Zimmaro was born April 30,1906, in Belle Vernon,a daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Spadafore Salvino. She had been a Monessen resident all of her life. Mrs. Zimmaro was a member of St. Leonard's Roman Catholic Church,Monessen, and the Ladies' Guild of the Church;Catholic Daughters of America,Monessen Court; and the Monessen Eagles' Ladies Auxilliary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent James Zimmaro in December of 1980. Surviving are one sister, Mrs. Theresa Scurci of Belle Vernon;a brother, James Salvino of Belle Vernon and a number of nieces and nephews Friends will be received at the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home,Grand Blvd.and Marion Ave.,Monessen,Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home,followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Leonard's Roman Catholic Church,Monessen, with the Rev. Patrick J. O'Connor,as celebrant. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A. Billcik Funeral Home,Inc.,is in charge of arrangements.
