Mrs. Emily Novosel;,61,of Fairhope,died in the Charleroi-Monessen hospital Thursday,October 1,1953,at 8:10 p.m. She was a member of St. Edward's Church in Fayette City,the Croatian Catholic Society of McKeesport,and the C.F.U.146,Versailles. She is survived by her husband,Steve Novosel,one daughter,Mrs. Paul (Zora) Kostelac,Fairhope,a brother,Nicholas Kos of Pittsburgh,one sister,Mrs. Mildred Kanceljac of Yugoslavia,seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Melenyzer-Ferguson Funeral Home. Requiem High Mass will be sung in St. Edward's Church,Fayette City,Monday,October 5,1953,at 9:30 a.m.,by Rev. Charles W. Ribick. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Chas. L. Melenyzer and Shelby D. Ferguson are the funeral directors.
