She was born September 14; 1928 in Glassport; Pa.
Emily was loved by many and well known for her baking skills and making homemade buns and candy. She was so proud of her children;grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to Polka with her husband. She enjoyed all of the Belle Vernon Area Band Festivities; she was a past president of the band parents Association. Emily worked at Hilltop Drug Store and Grants Department store both in Belle Vernon.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband; Carl Bernard Skibo on April 9; 1999.
Friends will be received Friday 2-4 & 6-9 in the Eley-McCrory Funeral Home;Inc.;334 Main St.; Fayette City; PA.(724)-326-5621;www.eleymccroryfuneralhome.com and Saturday; February 5; 2011 until 10:00 AM when a blessing service will take place followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 Am in the St. Sebastian RC Church; Belle Vernon with Rev. Robert Lubic as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery; Belle Vernon; Pa. Members of St. Sebastian parish will pray the rosary for the departed soul of Emily on Friday at 3:00 pm in the funeral home.
