Obituary

Emilenne M.Delhaye of Monessen died Sunday, May 26,1985,at 7:10 A.M. in the Hixenbaugh Convalescent Home,Claysville, following a lingering illness. She was 79. Miss Delhaye was born AprilL 13,1906,in Mauberg,France,and had lived in Monessen all of her life. She was a member of St. Leonard Roman Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild of the church. Miss Delhaye was retired from the payroll office of the Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corporation Monessen Plant. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and the Ladies Auxiliary of Mon Valley Hospital. Survivors include an aunt, Aline Lespilette of Pricedale, four cousins,Lawrence Lespilette and Yvette Mosco,both of Monessen,Laverne Hamilton of Roscoe and Elsie Chew of North Charleroi, and several relatives residing in France. Friends will be recieved Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home,Monessen,where a Blessing Service will be held on Wednesday,May 29,AT 9:30 A.M.,followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m in the St. Leonard R. C. Church,Monessen,with the Rev. Patrick J. O'Conor officiating.Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A. Billick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
