Mabel Round; 93; a lifelong resident of Belle Vernon; died Thursday; May 12; 2005 in Mon Valley Hospital. Mabel taught 3rd grade for 38 years; first at LaGrange School in the Rostraver Township system and then at the North Belle Vernon School in the combined Rostraver/Belle Vernon system. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon where for many years she taught Sunday school. She was a 1929 graduate of Monessen High School and a 1931 graduate of California State Teachers College. Mabel; born June 25; 1911; was preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Ellen Round; and a brother; Lawrence Round; age 6. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery was private.
