Elva E. Dolly Jones; 75; of Fairhope; Belle Vernon; died Monday; July 8; 2002; in her home with her loving family at her side. She was born Sept. 7; 1926; in Pittsburgh; the daughter of the late Henry and Lily Chilcott Eltringham. Mrs. Jones was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter; Jenna Jones. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband; Donald R. Jones; her children; Richard V. Jones and wife Viola of Belle Vernon; the Rev. Donald R. Jones Jr. and wife Pat of Watsontown; and Lily Farquhar and husband Alonzo of Allenport; one brother; Jay Eltringham of Virginia; three sisters; Nece Becker of Penn Hills; Ada Mae Herrington of Bridgeville; and June Morton of Belle Vernon; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City; on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.; Thursday; July 11; from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Friday; July 12; until 11 a.m.; the hour of service in the funeral home with the Revs. Beth Lynn Nelson and Donald R. Jones III officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
