Obituary

Elsta (Bull) Yakich,710 Washington Ave.,Charleroi,died Saturday,April 13,1985,in Mon Valley Hospital,Carroll Twp. He was 69. Mr.Yakich was born in Monessen on May 1,1915,a son of he late Louis and Frances Mural Yakich. He was Catholic by faith and was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S.Army. He was a member of the Belle Vernon American Legion,the Charleroi Sportsmen's Club and the Allenport Rod and Gun Club. He was retired from the Allenport plant of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. In addition to his parents,he was preceded in death by his wife,Frances,three brothers,Alfred,Ralph and Ernest Yakich,and a sister,Florence Rapsack. Survivors include a son,Edward Yakich of Charleroi,a daughter,Mrs.Leonard (Kay) Seemuth,four sisters,Mrs.Frances Barrennoski of California,Mrs.Mary Campbell of Monessen,Mrs.Gladys Perry of Monessen and Mrs.Mildred Marks of Smithton. Friends will be received at the Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home,819 Fallowfield Ave.,Charleroi,on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.Renato Gianni officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Carl J.Spallino Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
