Elsie Crawley,51,of R.D. 3, Belle Vernon,died Saturday, May 12,1962 at 9:35 p.m. upon arrival at the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. She was a member of the United Baptist Church of Monessen. She is survived by two brothers, Clarence and Carl,both of Monessen; four sisters, Mrs. Ruth Wilson of East Bank,W.Va.,Mrs. Mamie Brown of Brooklyn, N.Y.,and Martha Sanerford and Lockie Peerman,both of Lynchburg, Va., a grandchild,Harriet Spencer,whom she raised,and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the DuBoise H. Carter Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m. on May 14. Funeral services will take place Wednesday,May 16,at 11 a.m. in the Union Baptist Church,Monessen with the Rev. Philip Green in charge. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
