Obituary

Services were held Monday,March 15,1976,for Elmer Clayton Spiker,80,of 1222 Sheffield St.,Pittsburgh,who died suddenly at his home on Saturday,March 13,1976,at 12:22 p.m. He was born in Connellsville on July 8,1895,a son of the late Isaac Newton and Elizabeth Bungard Spiker. He served in the U.S.Army 10th Aero Squadron during World War I and was a retired carpenter. Mr.Spiker is survived by a brother,Smith Spiker of Brownsville,a sister,Mrs.Anna Grant of Allison,Pa.,and several nieces and nephews. Private viewing and services were held today in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home,Main St.,Fayette City,and interment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
