Services were held Monday;March 15;1976;for Elmer Clayton Spiker;80;of 1222 Sheffield St.;Pittsburgh;who died suddenly at his home on Saturday;March 13;1976;at 12:22 p.m. He was born in Connellsville on July 8;1895;a son of the late Isaac Newton and Elizabeth Bungard Spiker. He served in the U.S.Army 10th Aero Squadron during World War I and was a retired carpenter. Mr.Spiker is survived by a brother;Smith Spiker of Brownsville;a sister;Mrs.Anna Grant of Allison;Pa.;and several nieces and nephews. Private viewing and services were held today in the Howard W.McCrory Funeral Home;Main St.;Fayette City;and interment followed in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
