Obituary

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the late home on Bluff street for Elmer Dillon, aged 62, pioneer resident of Belle Vernon, who succumbed last Friday,June 7,1929 in his home following a long illness. Interment in the Belle Veron Cemetery followed the services. Included among the survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Johnson of Cleveland, Ohio, two brothers, four granddaughters and a host of other relatives living in the valley. Mr. Dillon had operated a barber shop on Broad avenue for many years. He was the owner of the first barber shop constructed in Charleroi on the site where the First National bank now stands.
