Elmer C.Spiker of Fairhope;Belle Vernon;died Monday;June 16;1986 at 5:03 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. He was 59. He was born in Washington Township on June 15;1927;a son of the late Emerson and Margaret Grant Spiker. He was a member of the Marion United Presbyterian Church;Fairhope;the Belle Vernon American Legion;the Fairhope V.F.W.;the Fairhope Rod and Gun Club and the Naomi Athletic Club. He was a veteran of the U.S.Army;having served during World War II. He was retired from the Monessen Southwest Railroad of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel;Monessen Yard. He is preceded in death by two brothers;Melvin and Emerson. Survivors include his wife;Mary Perney Spiker;one son;Elmer C.Spiker Jr.of Fairhope;three daughters;Mrs.James (Cynthia) Manzini of Donora;Mrs.Diane Spiker and Mrs.John (Debra) Yetsconish;both of Belle Vernon;two sisters;Mrs.John (Gladys) Kelly and Mrs.Andrew (Marion) Pinasko;both of Belle Vernon;and six grandchildren. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.;Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday until 11 a.m. at the Howard E.McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
