Obituary
Elma Jones,81,of Allenport died Tuesday, July 20,1993,at 12:20 p.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was born Jan. 8,1912,in Georgia, a daughter of the late Charles and Hattie Lofton. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist Church,Belle Vernon, where she served as a member of the missionary society and the health unit. Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, James L. Queen of Pittsburgh and Woodrow W. and Iva Jones,Jr. of Charleroi; one daughter, Hollie Brooks of East St. Louis,Ill., seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Antioch Baptist Church, Highland & Henry St.,Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
