Ellsworth Herbert Johnson,Sr.,aged 74 years,Main street, Fayette City,died Saturday, May 29,1954 at 10:25 p.m. at his late home. The deceased was born in Lima,Ohio and was a member of the Presbyterian Church,Fayette City. Surviving are his wife,Mrs. Althea Johnson; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Hastings of Washington,D.C. and Mrs. Bruce ( Donna) Stephens of Fayette City,R.D.1;three sons,Willis and Eugene,both of Fayette City,R.D. and E.H. Johnsn,Jr. of Stockdale;six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Friends are being received at the home of his son, Willis,until noon Wednesday, June 2, when the body will be removed to the Presbyterian Church,Fayette City,for funeral services at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Ralph Lithgow, pastor of the Christian and Missionay Alliance Church, Brownstown,will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. George M. McCrory and Son,Fayette City, funeral director.
