Mrs. Ella Hogarth Liptrot,64,of 1378 Fayette Ave.,Fairhope,Belle Vernon,died Saturday March 28,1964,at 2:35 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. Mrs. Liptrot was born in New castle-on-the-Tyne,England,June 26,1899. A resident of Fairhope for the past 40 years,she was a member of Marion Presbyterian Church,the Women's Association and the Bethany Aid Bible Class of the church. She was also a member of the Portsmouth,Va.General Hospital Auxiliary. Preceded in death by her husband,Thomas D.Aug.1,1955,she is survived by a son, William A. of Levittown;a daughter,Mrs. Charlie (Peggy) Buchanan Jr.,of Portsmouth,Va. and five grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon. At noon on Tuesday,March 31,the body will be taken to Marion Presbyterian Church to lie in state until time of services at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Abner P. Richard Jr.,church pastor,will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson,funeral director.
