over 30 years and an employee of the Belle Vernon Area
School District for 20 years;
died Sunday;Feb.6;1977;at 6:20 p.m.in the Charleroi Division of Mon
Valley Hospital.
Miss White; who lived at 201
Johnson Ave.; Belle Vernon;was born March 1;1913 in Jeannette.
She was preceded in death
by her father; William White
Sr in1951; by two brothers;
James and John White and by
one sister; Violet Roberts.
Miss White was a member
of the Pricedale Union Church
where she taught Sunday
School classes for over 30
years. She had worked for the
Belle Vernon School District
for 20 years. She was also a
member of the Belle Vernon
and Monessen Golden Agers.
Survivors include her
mother; Nora May McCarthy
White of Belle Vernon; one
brother; William White Jr of
Belle Vernon; two sisters;
Mrs. Donald (Margaret) Sterner and Mrs.John (JoAnn) Rice;both of Belle Vernon and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon from 7 to 9 p.m.Monday;Feb.7 and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Tuesday;Feb.8. Services will be held Wednesday;Feb.9;at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Howard Rodebaugh;pastor of the Pricedale Union Church;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
