Mrs. Elizabeth (Hayden) Watson,84,of 331 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,died Saturday,June 12,1965 at 5:30 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen Hosptial. A resident of Belle Vernon over 45 years,Mrs. Watson was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon. She was born in Hopwood on March 10,1881. Preceding her in death were her husband,Commodore,Sept. 8,1962,and a daughter,Ilanthe A. on Jan. 29,1962.Mrs. Watson is survived by a son, James Arnold Watson at home;two sisters, Mrs. Thomas Keys of Niagara Falls, N.Y.,and Mrs. Charles Tesh of Reedville,N.C.;two grandchildren,Carlton Lee Watson at home and Tanna Lee Watson in Okinawa. Friends are being received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,where a service will take place Tuesday,June 15,at 1:30 p.m. in charge of Dr. S.Arthur Talman,pastor of the First Presbyterian Church,Belle Vernon.
