Elizabeth Ferrera Vaccaro of 61 Sampson St.,Belle Vernon,died Friday Sept. 9,1983 at 11:35 a.m. in Mon Valley Hospital. She was 86. Mrs. Vaccaro was born in Italy on Oct. 8,1896,a daughter of the late John and Isabela Vaccaro Ferrera. She was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon community and was a member of St. Sebastian Roman Catholic Church in Belle Vernon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband,Joseph Vaccaro,in May 1974. Survivors include a son, Victor Vaccaro of Glenshaw;two daughters,Mrs. Rose Soroka of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Frank (Jean) Ferrari of Belle Vernon;a sister in Italy;seven grandchildren and five great-grandsons. Friends will be received at the Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,626 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Prayer Service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the St. Sebstian Roman Catholic Church,Belle Vernon,at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
