Mrs.Elizabeth Semancik;84;of 135 Greenwood St.;Lynnwood;died on Monday;April 9;1973 at 12:30 a.m.in Connellsville State Hospital. Born in Austria-Hungary on May 10;1888;she was a member of Holy Spirit R.C.Church;Fayette City and the first Catholic Slovak Ladies Association;Penna;Slovak Union and First Catholic Slovak Union;all of Wickhaven. Her husband;Michael S.;died in 1964 and a son;Albert;died in 1942. Surviving are seven sons;John of Van Voorhis;Anthony of Fayette City;Michael J.;Andrew;Steve and Frank;all of Belle Vernon;and Joseph;at home;two daughters;Mrs.Lloyd (Mary) Miller of Belle Vernon and Ms.Oscar (Julia) Kluh of Obeverly Manor;Md.;one sister;Mrs.Katherine Komacko of Star Junction;29 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the McCrory Funeral Home;Fayette City;after 6 p.m.Monday. Funeral services will be held Wednesday with Prayers at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.and Solemn Requiem High Mass at 11 a.m.in Holy Spirit R.C.Church;Fayette City;with the Rev.Stephen Drab as celebrant.
