Elizabeth (Betty) Veschio,88,of Monessen,died Tuesday,Feb. 13,1996,in Mon Valley Hospital. Born Aug. 22,1907,in McAdoo,she was the daughter of the late John and Anne Moravec. A resident of Monessen all of her adult life,Mrs. Veschio was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church and its Ladies Guild. She was also a member of Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court 776, Monessen. In addition to her parents,she was preceded in death by her husband,Anthony P.Veschio;and a son,William T.Veschio. Surviving are five sons,Bernard F. Veschio of Monessen,Ralph A. Veschio of Donora,Tony Veschio of Santa Monica,Calif.,Val Gene Veschio of Monessen and Timothy Veschio of Tampa,Fla.;16 grandchildren;16 great-grandchildren;and a sister,Victoria Shearer of Fellsburg. Friends will be received Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc.,Grand Blvd. and Marion Ave.,Monessen,where a Blessing service will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m.,followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church,Monessen. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc,is in charge of arrangements.
