Elizabeth McGavitt,age 82 years,of Belle Vernon, died in Allegheny General Hospital Thursday,October 28, 1943 at 4:30 p.m. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Addie Daugherty of Belle Vernon and Mrs. Bertha Kuchta of Cleveland, Ohio, three sons, James of Clairton, George of Coal Center and Harry of Monongahela. Thirty-two grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren also survive. Friends will be received at the Toner Funeral Home and services will be held there Sunday,October 31,1943 at 2 p.m. Rev. Herbert G Mountan,pastor of the First Baptist Church of Belle Vernon,will be in charge of services. Harold R. Toner is the funeral director.
