Mrs. Elizabeth M. Kirkpatrick,65,of Sweeney Plan, Belle Vernon R.D.2,died suddenly Sunday, June 25, 1967. at 10:58 p.m.in Charleroi-Monessen Hospital. She was born Jan. 24,1902,in Coal Center but had lived in the Belle Vernon area all her life. Her husband was Edward Kirkpatrick,former road supervisor of Rostraver Twp.,who died on Aug. 14,1963. Surviving are two sons,James W. at home and Edward E. of Lorain,Ohio;a daughter, Barbara J. at home;one brother, Steve Miller of Charleroi;three sisters, Mrs. Julia Demeter of Monongahela,Mrs. Lars G. Lindstrom of White Plains,N.Y. and Mrs. J.D. Wheeler of Tucson, Ariz. and five grandchildren. Friends will be received at the James C. Stump Funeral Home,Sweeney Plan,Belle Vernon R.D.2 after 2 p.m. June 27. Service there Thursday,June 29,at 2 p.m. with the Rev.Wayne M. Tolson,pastor of Monessen's First Christian Church,officiating. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. James C. Stump is funeral director.
