Elizabeth Lee Jennings;82;of 1016 Optic St.;Monessen;died Tuesday;October 25;1983;at Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. Mrs.Jennings was born in Springfield;Tenn.;on Feb.2;1901;a daughter of the late George and Martha Frezzell. She resided in Monessen for over 50 years after coming from Springfield. She was a member of the Union Baptist Church of Monessen and the church’s Deaconess Board. Survivors include her husband;Robert Jennings;two brothers;Thomas Frezzell of Monessen;and Loveless Frezzell of Springfield;Tenn.;a sister;Ida Williams of Monesssen;and a host of nieces;nephews and other relatives. Friends will be received at the William R.Taylor Funeral Home;645 McMahon Ave.;Monessen;Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.and Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held in the Union Baptist Church of Monessen on Friday at 11 a.m. with the Rev.Oscar Hill officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The William R.Taylor Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
