Mrs.Elizabeth Johns,79,who made her home with her daughter,Mrs.Leonard (Eleanor) DeiCas,Charleroi R.D.2,died suddenly Friday,May 7,1965 at 4:50 p.m.in Monongahela Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Johns was born in England,Dec.2,1885,a daughter of John and Margaret Wilding Dean. She had lived in this vicinity almost all her life. Preceded in death by her husband,Richard in 1941,she is survived by a son,William of New Caanan,Conn.;two daughters,Mrs.Albert (Dolores) Sukel of Charleroi and Mrs.DeiCas;two brothers,John Dean of Charleroi and William Dean of Youngstown,Ohio;a sister,Mrs.Anna Claybaugh,of Ford City and six grandchildren. Friends are being received at the Francis C.Slezak Funeral Home,Charleroi,after 7 p.m.Sunday and Monday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. Service there Tuesday,May 11,at 10 a.m.in charge of Canon Joseph Wittkofski,pastor of St.Mary's Church,Charleroi.
