Mrs. Eliza J. Bovard,age 81 years,of 324 Henry street, Belle Vernon,died in Charleroi-Monessen hospital,Monday March 20,1944,at 2:30 a.m. She was a member of the Belle Vernon Presbyterian Church and the Order of Eastern Star,Belle Vernon. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Kate johnson of belle vernon and Mrs. maggie Williams of California and a number of nieces and nephews. The late Mary Bovard,of Belle Vernon and at the time a teacher in the Donora schools,was a daughter. Friends will be received at the home of her niece,Mrs. Grace Westcott,121 Vine street,Belle Vernon,and services will be held there March 22,1944. Rev. Crawford M. Coulter will have charge of services and interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Harold R.Toner is the funeral director.
