Obituary

Mrs. Elizabeth Myers,widow of the late Theodore Myers,died at 1 o'clock today,Tuesday February 21,1933,at the family home,177 Schoonmaker avenue after a lingering illness. She has been confined to her bed for the past three weeks and last night it became evident that the end was near. Mrs.Myers was a member of the Dames of Malta and Pocahontas lodges of Belle Vernon and a consistant member of the Monessen Methodist Episcopal Church. She was always conspicuous in the various activities until the time of her illness. She had spent her entire life in this vicinity having been born on a farm which is now the property of the Pittsburgh Steel compnay. Surviving are a son J.Earl Myers,and three sisters,Miss Laura Owens,and Mrs.Samuel Ross of this city,and Mrs.Letitia Myers,of Belle Vernon. Three grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the late home,177 Schoonmaker avenue. Rev.L.S.Elliott,pastor of the Methodist Church,will be in charge,assisted by Rev.W.C.L.Samson,of Pittsburgh. Interment will follow in the family plot in the Belle Vernon Cemetery.
