Elizabeth Hela; 96; of Fayette City (Jefferson Township); died Saturday; Sept. 22; 2007; in Mon Valley Hospital Inc. She was born Nov. 5; 1910; in Mukackevo; Czechoslovakia; a daughter of the late Michael and Anna Brody. She was a member of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Charleroi. She is survived by two sons; John Hela and Stephen (Georgetta) Hela; both of Perryopolis (Jefferson Township); two daughters; Betty Acklin and Margaret Buchina; both of Fayette City (Jefferson Township); one sister; Irene Pollock; of Charleroi; one brother; Michael Brody; of Virginia; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; George Hela; one son; George Joseph Hela; and four sisters; Anna; Mary; Helen and Margaret. Friends will be received in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City (724-326-5621) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and Thursday; Sept. 27; until 10:30 a.m.; when a blessing service will take place followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. in Holy Trinity Orthodox Church; Charleroi; with the Rev.
