Elizabeth H. Evans,of Rostraver Twp.,Belle Vernon R.D. died Friday Octobert 6,1978 at 6 a.m. at her residence. She was 82. Born in Hungary,March 26,1898.she had lived in the Rostraver area all her married life. Mrs. Evans was a member of St.Sebastian's Church,Belle Vernon,and the Hungarian Clubs of Pricedale and Monessen. SHe was preceded in death by her husband, Ziga Evans,on April 11,1977. Mrs. Evans is survived by three sons, Stephen Evans of Belle Vernon R.D.4,Julius Evans of Pricedale,and William J. Evans of Rostraver Twp.,Belle Vernon,R.D.5;two daughters,Mrs. Joseph (Margaret) Such of McKeesport,and Mrs. Emma Jene Lelik,family news editor of the Valley Independent,of Donora;one brother,Zoltan Herbal of Quincy,Mass.;five sisters, Rose Herbal of Verpelet,Hungary,Margaret Prager and Mary Popp,both of Florida,and Ann Parris and Rose Herbal,both of Cleveland,Ohio; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received in the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon,Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
