Elizabeth Mayerchak Gluch;78;of Belle Vernon;died Monday;Feb.8;1993;at 10:35 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township. Mrs.Gluch was born Nov.5;1914;in Charleroi;a daughter of the late Stephen and Julia Mayerchak. She had been a resident of the Belle Vernon community for the past 47 years. Mrs.Gluch was a member of St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon;and the Legion of Mary of the Church. In addition to her parents;whe was also preceded in death by her husband;Joseph J.Gluch (who died Dec.25;1992);and by a son;Thomas Gluch (who died in 1968);and by several brothers and sisters. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law;Chuck and Carol Gluch of Spring;Texas;a son;Jim Gluch of Philadelphia;two grandchildren;Karen and David Gluch;a brother;Charles Mayerchak of Monessen;and three sisters;Augustine Venneri of Charleroi;Margaret Mayerchak of West Newton and Ann Konhauser of Ford City. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon. A Prayer Service will be held Thursday at 9:30 a.m.in the funeral home;followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebstian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
