Mrs.Elizabeth Diana Rhoades,aged 96 years,of 614 Speer street,Belle Vernon,died Friday,Oct.7,1955 at 7 p.m.at her late home. Born in Plainsville, the deceased was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon. Surviving are three daughters, Mary C.Rhoades,at home,Mrs.Viola M.Fox,of Speers and Mrs.I.V.Shunk,of Raleigh,N.C.;three brothers,Oscar C.Rhoades and Warren Rhoades,both of Cove,Ak.and H.Albert Rhoades,of Prospect;15 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the late home,where funeral services will be held Monday,Oct.10,at 2:30 p.m. Rev.George Clark,pastor of the Presbyterian Church of Belle Vernon,will officiate. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
