Elizabeth Betty Yetsconish; 82; died Monday; Nov. 15; 2004; at home. She was born Feb. 5; 1922; in Fayette City; a daughter of the late Charles and Helen Benyak Yetsconish. She was retired from the payroll department at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Co.; Allenport Plant. She was a charter member of USWA Local 3406 and first financial secretary. Betty was a member of Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church; Belle Vernon. Survivors include three sisters; Ellen Blasko and husband Bob of Charleroi; Mary Brirley of Charleroi and Anne Stancoven and husband Rudy of Belle Vernon; one brother; Charles Yetsconish and wife Mary Jo of Fayette City; one nephew; Charles J. Yetsconish and wife Tina of Fayette City; and her very close friends; Princess and Girl. Friends will be received Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the ELEY-McCRORY FUNERAL HOME INC.; 334 Main St.; Fayette City. Family and friends are to gather in Holy Resurrection Orthodox Church; Belle Vernon; on Thursday; Nov. 18; at 1 p.m. for funeral services with the Rev. Fr. John Kluchko officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. A Parastas service will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
