Elizabeth (Betty) Sabol Szymansky of 616 Henry St.;Belle Vernon;died Tuesday;March 23;1982;at 3:35 a.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. She was 62. Mrs.Szymansky was born Jan.16;1920;in Monessen;a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Paluv Sabol. A resident of the Belle Vernon community for the past 30 years;she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church;Belle Vernon;where she served as elder and as a Sunday School teacher. Mrs.Szymansky also was a member of the H.O.A.class and the Women’s Association of the church and the Golden Agers of Belle Vernon. She was preceded in death by two sisters;Katherine Ostrzycki and Margaret Gutierrez. Survivors include her widower;Quentin Szymansky;one son;Quentin Robert Szymansky of Wilkinsburg;one daughter;Mrs.Jan (Kathleen Nadine) Marchewka of North Huntingdon. She also is survived by one brother;John Sabol of Monessen;six sisters;Mrs.Bruno (Mary) Lori of Belle Vernon;Mrs.Osmo (Helen) Larmi of Monessen;Mrs.Joseph (Susan) Hydo of Brownsville;Mrs.Al (Mildred) Samuels of Lodi;N.J.;Mrs.Sherman (Theresa) Koons of Webster and Mrs.Raymond (Irene) Baker of West Newton;two grandsons;Jonathon and Brian Marchewka;and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday. Services will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m.;with the Rev.Charles D.LaPlaca;pastor of the First Presbyterian Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
