Elizabeth Betty (Usher) Evangelist; 79; of Belle Vernon; died Tuesday; Dec. 3; 2013; at her residence. She was born in Pricedale on June 11; 1934; the daughter of the late John Fredrick Usher and Margaret Irene Cochonour Usher. She was a resident of the Belle Vernon area all her life and a member of Covenant Christian Church. Betty was an avid bingo player and loved to spend time cooking for her family. She is survived by a son; Daniel (Yvette) Evangelist of Monessen; three daughters; Danette (Hugh) Shearer of Rostraver Township; Julie Lynn Monack of Belle Vernon; and Toni Jo Evangelist of Belle Vernon; two brothers; Charles (Shirley) Usher of Fellsburg; and George (Judy) Usher of Perryopolis; four grandchildren; Ryan (Laura) Colditz; Aubree Nicole Evangelist; Chelsea Lace Roberts; and Casey Lynn Roberts; a great-grandson; Blaine Daniel Roberts; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband; Daniel Zeke Evangelist; a sister; Marie Coccari; and by a brother; John Wesley Usher. Friends will be received in the Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services; 441 Reed Ave. Monessen; on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held on Saturday; Dec. 7; 2013; at 9 a.m. in the funeral home; with the Rev.
