Mrs. Morton was born in
Phillipsburg; Pa.; on Nov. 25;
1892; the daughter of the late
Johnathan and Elizabeth Burton Warbutton.
She was a member of the St.
Mary’s Episcopal Church of
Charleroi.
Her husband; Samuel Morton; preceeded her in death in
1943.
Survivors include one son;
Robert W. Morton; Coal
Center R.D. 1; three
daughters; Mrs. Thomas
(Elsie) MacDonald; North
Charleroi; Mrs. Harold (Vera)
Herron; with home Mrs. Morton made her home; and Mrs.
Fred (Delores) Federer; Belle
Vernon RD.; three sisters;
Mrs. Rebecca Tripplet; Belle
Vernon RD; Mrs. Bessie
Kiger; Tampa; Fla.; and Mrs.
Ethel Hillman; Essex; Md.; 11
grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received in
the Shelby D. Ferguson
Funeral Home; 700 Broad
Ave.; Belle Vernon from 7 to 9
p.m. Thursday and Friday from 2
to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral vigil will be 8:45
p.m. today. Funeral services
will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the
funeral home; with the Rev.
Father Keith L. Ackerman;
Rector of St. Mary’s Episcopal
Church; officiating.
Burial will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
