Mrs. Eliza Jane Staples,79, of 327 Ohio St.,Pricedale,died in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital,Saturday,March 31,1962 at 5:35 a.m. She was born in Belle Vernon,Oct. 10,1882,and had resided in Pricedale since 1942. Survivors are her husband,Joseph Staples,one daughter, Mrs. John (Linnie) Rhodes of Fredericktown, R.D.1,one sister, Mrs. C.E. Harbaugh of Pricedale, thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Shelby D. Ferguson Funeral Home,Belle Venron after 12 o'clock noon on Sunday. Services will be held there Tuesday, April 3,1962,at 1:30 p.m.,in charge of the Rev. Paul V. Swettzer,pastor of the Pricedale Union Church. Interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery. Shelby D. Ferguson of Belle Vernon is the funeral director.
