Elio Frankie;73;of Fayette City R.D.1 (Gillespie);died Thursday Feb.7;1991;at 12:20 p.m. at his home. He was born Aug.17;1917;in Johnson City;Ill.;a son of the late Sisto and Florence Peccina Frankie. A farmer in the Gillespie area for many years;Mr.Frankie had also worked as a coal miner;retiring in the early 1970s. Catholic by faith;he was a member of the United Mine Workers of America. In addition to his parents;he was preceded in death by a brother;Arnold Frankie. Survivors include his wife;Margaret Rusak Frankie;one son;Gerald Frankie of Monessen;one daughter;Mrs.Michael J.(Monica) Adametz of Bethel Park;one brother;Joseph Riggianni of Webster;two sisters;Anice Rodish of Fairhope and Iris Thomas of Fredericktown;one granddaughter;Tina Frankie of Monessen;one grandson;Jerome Frankie of Monessen and several nieces and nephews.Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a prayer service will be held Monday at 9:30 a.m.;followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
