Eleanor Toots Graham Barrass;89;of 726 Speet St.;Belle Vernon;died Friday;Dec.13;1996;at 7:58 p.m.in Jefferson Hospital.  She was born March 15;1907;in Belle Vernon;a daughter of the late Thomas and Lillie Gibson Graham.  She was a lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon community.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon.  She retired in 1972 as a school teacher for the Belle Vernon Area School District.  She was the first kindergarten teacher at the North Belle Vernon Elementary School and taught there for many years.  She also taught at the former Speers Elementary School.  She was a graduate of California Normal School.  Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law;Terry and Carol Barrass of Belle Vernon;two granddaughters;Jennifer Barrass and Jessica Barrass;and one sister;Laura Nahar of Belle Vernon.  In addition to her parents;she was preceded in death by her husband;Thomas Barrass in 1946;three sisters;Ettie Pugh;Nora Graham;and Ann Fee;and one brother;Fred Graham.  Friends will be received Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home;626 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;where a funeral service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m.with the Rev.S.Miles McConnell;pastor First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating.  Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.  The Leonard J.Parzynski Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
