Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday. Prayer service will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 9:30 a.m.followed at 10 a.m.by Mass of Christian Burial in St.Sebastian Roman Catholic Church;Belle Vernon. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Obituary

Eleanor Raffelo,73,of Jean St.,Belle Vernon,died Monday,June 14,1982,at 11:52 p.m.at Mon Valley Hospital. Mrs. Raffelo was born Nov. 5, 1908 in Monessen,a daughter of the late James and Mary Carrato. For the past 57 years,she had been a Belle Vernon resident and married to her husband, Frank Raffelo,who survives.  Mrs. Raffelo was a member of St. Sebastian R.C.Church, the CD of A and the Anita Garibaldi Lodge, all of Belle Vernon. In addition to her husband,she is survived by two sons, Robert Raffelo of Belle Vernon and Eugene Raffelo at home; one brother, Luke Pasco of Pringle,Pa.; one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Sabatine (Rose) Trozzo on Feb. 22,1982 and  a brother, Tony Carrato in 1972. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home,700 Broad Ave.,Belle Vernon,from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday.
