Elayne A. Swan; 61; of North Charleroi; died Saturday; April 4; 2009; at her home. She was born June 27; 1947; in North Charleroi; a daughter of the late John and Jean (Biddle) Chuk. Elayne was a graduate of Monessen High School with the class of 1965. She was a member of First Christian Church in Charleroi. Surviving is her husband; Richard T. Swan; her daughter; Michele McQuay-Burton and husband Timothy; of North Charleroi; her son; Keith A. Swan and wife Megan; of Monongahela; her granddaughter; Deven McQuay; and two brothers; James Chuk; of Hempfield Township; and John Robert Chuk; of York. Friends will be received Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the SCHROCK-HOGAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES INC.; 226 Fallowfield Ave.; Charleroi (724- 483-2911). Funeral services will be held Wednesday; April 8; at 11 a.m. in First Christian Church; Walnut Ridge Road; Fallowfield Township with the Rev. Jim Linn Jr. officiating. Those attending the funeral services are asked to go directly to the church. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
