Eileen Vahaly, 85, of Fairhope, Belle Vernon, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in Cambridge Creekside, Charleroi. She was born Feb. 10, 1939, in Washington Township, daughter of James Kennedy and Florence Perry Kennedy. She was a member of First Christian Church in Fayette City, Pa. She is survived by six grandchildren, Angela Marie Vahaly, Andrew Perry Vahaly, Austin Vahaly, Faith Vahaly, Perry Joseph David Vahaly Jr. and Shawn McVicker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andrew “Andy” Vahaly Jr., on Jan. 16, 1991; her son, Perry Joseph David Vahaly Sr., on Sept. 1, 2012; two brothers, Clarence and James Kennedy; and one sister, Florence Stansell. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, July 29, 2024, at ELEY-MCCRORY FUNERAL HOME, Fayette City, Pa., www.eleymccroryfuneralhome. com. Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, July 29, 2024, in the funeral home with the Rev. Wayne Boring officiating. Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery, Belle Vernon, PA 15012.
