W. C. A. Hospital at 12:50 a.m.
She was 53.
Born in Pricedale; Oct. 12;
1924; she was the daughter of
the late Arthur and Uba Manila Turner. She had lived in New York for eight years. She was a member of the Ashville Methodist Church. Mrs.Smith is survived by her husband;Louis G.Smith;one son;Philip Huber of Jacksonville;Ala.;two daughters;Heidi;at home;and Susan Eckloff of Jamestown;N.Y.;and stepchildren;Susan;Laura and John Smith;all of Dunlevy;two brothers;Raymond and George Turner;both of Pricedale;and five grandchildren. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;after 7 p.m.Friday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Saturday. Services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m.with the Rev.Howard Rodebaugh;pastor of the Pricedale Union Church;officiating. Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers;the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society;through the funeral home. Shelby D.Ferguson;funeral director;is in charge of arrangements.
