Obituary

Edythe Eloise Haywood, 79, of Lebanon, Mo., died Saturday, May 1, 2004, in Lebanon. A daughter of the late Don K. and Vera A. Grandfield Fawbush, she was born in Wichita, Kan., on July 8, 1924. Born and raised in Kansas, she was a member of the Phillipsburg United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Clifton R. Haywood, with whom she made her home all over the world during his military career, two sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Sowden of Oakmont and Marie Grabania of Belle Vernon, 13 nieces and nephews, April Campbell, Jeff and Brian Moldenhauer, Judy Bilenski, Ed and Dick Powell, Patty Smith, Carol Zema, Bill Grabania, Jane Sykes, Ken Sowden, Beth Tuck and Amy Burkert, a number of great-nieces and great-nephews, and many other relatives and friends. Friends will be received Friday from noon to 1 p.m., the time of services, in the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME INC. and CREMATION SERVICE, a Golden Rule Member Firm, (724-929-5300), 700 Broad Ave., Belle Vernon with the Rev. Jeff St Clair, pastor of Harrisville United Methodist Church, Harrisville, officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
