Edward Wetzel Noel of 211 Henry St.Belle Vernon;died Friday;Dec.16;1983;at 5:45 p.m.in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Twp. He was 64. Mr.Noel was born May 25;1919;in Belle Vernon;a son of the late Edward and Eva McKinley Noel. A lifelong resident of the Belle Vernon area;he was employed;at the time of his death;as a high school custodian in the Belle Vernon Area School District;a position he had held for the past 15 years. He was a former employee of the Donora Southern Railroad. Surviving are two aunts;Jane Kibler;with whom he made his home;and Gladys Zietz of Charleston;W.Va.;and one uncle;Joseph Noel;of North Charleroi. Friends will be received in the Shelby D.Ferguosn Funeral Home;700 Broad Ave.;Belle Vernon;Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home;with the Rev.Thomas F.St.Clair;pastor;First United Methodist Church;Belle Vernon;officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Shelby D.Ferguson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
