Obituary

Edward Roy Bauer Sr.,Fayette City,died Saturday,May 3,1958 at 3 p.m. in the Charleroi-Monessen Hospital after a long illness. Born in Johnstown Dec. 3,1887,he was a member of the Presbyterian Church,Fayette City.  He was a retired coal miner. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lida Finch Bauer;a son,Edward R. Bauer Jr.,Marianna; two daughters, Mrs. Albert (Delilah) Walton,Fayette City and Mrs. Thomas (Floreine) Jones,Youngstown,Ohio; a brother,Frank of Youngstown and four sisters,Mrs. Elizabeth Wilson and Mrs. Ruth Beazell,both of Fairhope,Mrs. Frances Haywood,Pittsburgh and Mrs. Lillie King,Emporia,Kansas.  Three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter also survive. Friends are being received at the George M.McCrory & Son Funeral Home,Fayette City,where services will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m.  The Rev. D. Earl Daniel,pastor of the Fayette City Presbyterian Church will officiate.  Interment will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
