Edward Philip Veltre;34;Belle Vernon R.D.4;died Jan.15;1993;in Mon Valley Hospital;Carroll Township;as a result of injuries sustained in a train accident in New Eagle. He was born in North Charleroi;July 13;1958;a son of John and Mildred Lutz Veltre;who survive and reside in Monessen. Mr.Veltre was employed at Therm-O-Rock Inc.of New Eagle. He was a member of Metro Baptist Church;Rostraver Township. In addition to his parents;he is survived by his wife;Shelly Clark Veltre;two sons;Edward P.Veltre Jr.and Mark J.Veltre;both at home;and two brothers and a sister. Friends will be received at the James C.Stump Funeral Home Inc.;Sweeney Plan/Rostraver Township;Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Stephen Dobosh;pastor of Metro Baptist Church;officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The James C.Stump Funeral Home Inc.is in charge of the arrangements.
