Services for the Rev. Edward M. Biffle,61,who died Wednesday,Oct. 4,1961 in Presbyterian Hospital,Pittsburgh,will be conducted on Monday morning. The Rev. M. Biffle,who lived at 1006 Morgan Ave.,Monessen,served as pastor of Izzard Chapel A.M.E. Church,Maxwell,near Brownsville,prior to the illness which preceded his death. He was a member of the Wayman A.M.E. Church, Monessen; America Woodman Lodge and Lodge No. 90 F. and A.M. of Youngstown, Ohio. Surviving are his widow,Mrs. Nora Bell Biffle;a sister,Mrs. Katherine Franklin of Monessen;two brothers,Walter Fleming of Hendersonville, Tenn. and Jesse Biffle of Lima,Ohio;three step-children, Edward Bell of Aliquippa,James L. Bell of Monessen and Katherine Cunningham of Monessen;five nieces and two nephews. Friends are being received at the DuBoise Carter Funeral Home,Monessen.
