Edward L. Hanly, aged 76 years, 127 Sixth street,died Monday evening,Dec. 7,1953,at 10:15 p.m. in Charleroi-Monessen hospital. For over 30 years a resident of Monessen, the deceased had been employed at the local Pittsburgh Steel Co. plant. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Jessie Hanly; a son, James Hanley of Mt. Lebanon; a daughter, Mrs. William Pierotti of Lynnwood;four grandchildren and a brother, James Hanly of Moundsville, W.Va. Friends are being received at the Harper Funeral Home, McKee avenue,between the hours of 1 and 5 and 7 and 10 p.m.,by the request of the family. Funeral services will be held Thursday,Dec. 10,at 2 p.m. from the funeral home,with Rev. Lloyd S. Erb of the First Baptist Church officiating. Intement will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
