Edward Jon Mazur;31;of 102 Pride Ave.;Monessen;died Wednesday;June 15;1988;at his home. He was born Dec.22;1956;in North Charleroi;a son of Mike and Eva Praskavich Mazur;who survive. Mr.Mazur was employed as a janitor in the Monessen School District for many years and was a member of St.Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church of Monessen. In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister;Mrs.Edward (Kathy) Watson of Nokesville;Va.;two brothers;Michael Jr.of Sewickley and Ken of Monessen;and one niece and one nephew. Friends will be received Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Rhome Funeral Home Inc.;1209 Grand Blvd.;Monessen;where services will be held Saturday;June 18 at 9:45 a.m. with the Rev.Peter Natishan officiating. Burial will be in Belle Vernon Cemetery. The Rhome Funeral Home;Inc.is in charge of arrangements.
