Edward F. Tegel,74,of 228 Second St., Belle Vernon (Lynnwood),died Thursday, Nov. 5,1998,at 9:15 a.m. at home. Mr. Tegel was born Jan. 12,1924,in Farrell,the son of the late Frank and Frances Snyder Gezutti Tegel. A resident of Lynnwood for the past 45 years,he was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II and a retired crane repair and maintenance worker for U.S.S. Irvin Works.He is survived by his wife, Joan (Netspoon) Tegel; three daughters and sons-in-law,Anne and Donald Sweany and Lillian and Neil Gelotti of Washington Township and Joan M. and Alex Romansky of California,Pa.,one stepson,P. Joseph Grata; one brother and sister-in-law,Frank and Edith Tegel of Cleveland,Ohio and four grandchildren, John and Jared Sweany and Laurel and Lisa Gelotti. There will be no public visitation. The Leonard J. Parzynski Funeral Home,Belle Vernon,is in charge of arrangements.
