Obituary

Edward Cox,64,of 701 Washington Ave.,Charleroi,was found dead in a second-floor bedroom of his home at 7:10 p.m.Wednesday,March 25,1970. After Charleroi police investigated,Deputy Coroner Harold L.Schrock of Charleroi pronounced Mr.Cox dead of natural causes. Mr.Cox had not been seen since Monday. Mr.Cox was a member of St.James A.M.E.Church,Charleroi,and retired in June,1968,from the open hearth department of the Monessen Works of Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp. He has no known survivors. Friends will be received at Beverly C.Draper Funeral Home,Monessen,after 7 p.m.March 26. Service Saturday,March 28,at 11 a.m.in St.James AME Church,Charleroi,with the Rev.Edward Ford,pastor,officiating. Interment,Belle Vernon Cemetery. Beverly C.Draper is funeral director.
